Release Notes

Check out the latest and greatest feature we've added to Game Warden. Details below.

🎉 What's new?

Continuous Monitoring

Introducing Continuous Monitoring, a new area for tracking the ongoing security posture of your production deployments in one place.

💡 Highlights:

  • Asset Inventory: See what's deployed and when it was last assessed, with per-period views and full scan-date history.
  • Vulnerability tracking: Review summaries and trends over time, down to container-level vulnerability visibility.
  • CIS benchmark and OS-level findings: View these alongside your existing scan results.
  • Automated data collection: Monitoring data is collected on a schedule, so it stays current without a manual refresh.

Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) Management

Managing your POA&M just got a lot more powerful. You can now create, edit, and close POA&M items - including milestones and milestone entries - directly from the Game Warden app.

💡 Highlights:

  • Generate POA&Ms from findings: Create a POA&M directly from a CVE, SAST, CIS benchmark, or OS-inspection finding, with severity automatically mapped to the appropriate risk rating.
  • See who owns what: POA&M items are labeled so you can tell at a glance which are owned by your application versus SecondFront's managed infrastructure.
  • Reporting made easy: POA&M data is now included in your downloadable ConMon package export, alongside your other Body of Evidence artifacts.

🧗 What's been improved?

Findings & remediation

We've refined filtering, detail views, and remediation-status visibility across the Findings page, making it easier to pinpoint and act on the data you need.

We've also standardized remediation due dates for high- and critical-severity findings to 30 days, so timelines are consistent and predictable across your application.

Data export

New CSV export options are now available for Asset Inventory, packages, and vulnerability reports, in addition to existing export formats.

Access control

We've refined access controls so users only see the areas of Game Warden they're provisioned for.
