Account Setup for DoD Deployments

Welcome to Game Warden's DoD deployment pathway. This guide will walk you through setting up your account and user access specifically for Department of Defense (DoD) Impact Level authorizations.

After successfully completing the Game Warden technical screening process, your organization will need to establish Platform One (P1) accounts to access the Game Warden environment. Follow the steps below to set up your P1 Single Sign-On (SSO) and begin your DoD authorization journey.

Tip

We recommend you establish your P1 SSO account using your work email as this is the email we will use to send you an invitation to the Game Warden app. Additionally, we recommend not using Internet Explorer.

Create a P1 Account

Prerequisites:

  1. Download a Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) application, such as FreeOTP or Google Authenticator.
  2. Ensure you have access to your work email address.
  3. Perform these setup instructions from a computer web browser.

Platform One Access

Follow the instructions below to provision a Platform One (P1) Single Sign-On (SSO) account.

  1. Access the Registration page.

  2. Complete the Registration form using an approved email account (such as a work email address).

  3. Click Register upon form completion.
    A new window opens, prompting you to open your MFA application and scan the visible code.

    Note

    If you are registering with a Common Access Card (CAC), External Certification Authority (ECA), or a Federal Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card, creating a password is optional – particularly, if you solely want to access your account using one of the above-mentioned government access cards. For additional information, read Government Access Cards.

  4. Establish MFA by scanning the QR code with your MFA application and accessing a 6-digit code.
    This code changes approximately every 30 seconds.

  5. Follow the on-screen prompts by entering the 6-digit code and an optional Device name.
    You must enter an MFA 6-digit code each time you enter your login credentials; therefore, do not delete the MFA app.

    Note

    If your MFA code is either not accepted or entered incorrectly, the QR code resets. You must re-scan the QR code, which generates a new MFA 6-digit code.

  6. Access the Inbox of the email account you associated with P1 during the Registration process, as you will receive an email with a link to verify your email address.

  7. Click Link to e-mail address verification or copy the URL into a web browser. Do not use Internet Explorer.

  8. Validate your email address by selecting Click here to proceed. On the next screen, click Back to Application.

    • Congratulations! You have successfully created your P1 account and now have access to this environment. These credentials allow application access.

Verify account via Keycloak

Keycloak is the Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution that allows secure access to the Game Warden Web App, your products, and other Game Warden-hosted solutions using a single set of login credentials (the P1 SSO you just created).

Navigate to login.afwerx.dso.mil and click on Sign In.

Select the option to Log in with P1 SSO

Enter the Platform One credentials you created in Step One and enter your MFA number.

You will be redirected to your personal Keycloak account with your name in the upper right corner. If you've made it this far, you have successfully verified your account!

If you were not able to verify your account via Keycloak, ensure you used the same login credentials you created in step one.

Join Your Company Profile

Navigate to the Game Warden app at app.gamewarden.io and log in using your P1 SSO credentials. On successfully logging in, you should expect to see the below:

Note

You can preemptively send us a list of who from your organization will need access to the Game Waren app to expedite this final step.

Add Your Team to Game Warden

Once you have established your user account, you can invite your team to Game Warden from within the app.

  1. Navigate to the Game Warden application at app.gamewarden.io and login with your P1 SSO credentials.

  2. Click on the Company Profile tab in the left-side navigation panel.

  3. Click on the INVITE TEAM MEMBERS button.

  4. Fill out the menu fields for the individual you are inviting to your Game Warden company profile and select a role of Contributor or Admin. > For information

    All team members you want to invite to Game Warden MUST establish P1 SSO credentials to log in.

    If your team member's email domain DOES NOT match yours, contact the Customer Operations team for assistance.

  5. Click INVITE. An invitation email will be sent to your team member.

  6. When your team member attempts to log in, they will get an expected Your account has not been granted access to this application group yet. message. Let your TIM or CS representative know and we will grant them the necessary Keycloak groups to finish the account provisioning process.

Common P1 Access Issues

  • MFA Setup and Troubleshooting

  • Re-establishing MFA (e.g. for a new or lost device)

  • Not receiving password reset email

    1. Try having the email sent again and check your spam/junk folder.
    2. If the second attempt fails, reach out to: help@dsop.io
  • P1 User account is disabled

    1. Send an email to help@dsop.io with the word "unlock", "disable", or "reactivate" in the body.
    2. Your account should automatically unlock and you will receive an email reply once complete.
